Stuck

College is suppose to be fun, so far I have found it not to be. When I say fun, I mean not fun all of the time because it is there for students to continue their studies and get a degree which gives them more chances on getting their careers. I have hardly met anyone new and exciting at TCC this first year at college. Most people in classes are way older than me and I know they won't like the same things as I do.

College is the place where I am suppose to meet some of my life long friends. So far I have met maybe one person that I can think off the top of my head who I know is pretty cool and I think I could see myself hanging out with them on the weekend.

This week it snowed. I get on facebook and see all of my old friends from high school who have taken pictures with their new college friends playing in the snow and sledding down hills and just having a good 'ol time. I unfortunately will never experience as far as I know. I will never get to have the normal college experience like most people. Instead, I live at home with my parents, practically friendless, have just about no money, and have so many dreams that will never be fulfilled. This saddens me deeply. I will never have those photos of me and my new college friends in the snow. I will never know what its like to have a roommate and live in a dorm. I would move out and be somewhat on my own but instead I'm trapped at home because I don't make anywhere around enough money to get a semi-decent apartment that I would probably regret leasing because it stinks from the previous owner and the floorboards squeak where-ever and whenever you take a step. I am stuck in my 10' X 12' room that is too small to fit all of my clutter. I am stuck hearing 'welcome to life' every waking day.

This is disappointing. I still feel like I am in High School. I tried my best to hurry and get out of high school because I hated it there. My senior year was a complete fail. For some reason, my old friends who I would hang out with every weekend no longer would speak to me. I will never understand why, because I didn't do anything wrong for them to stop communicating to me. I noticed that some of my old friends just weren't who they were anymore and became angry and bitter towards others. I didn't want to allow myself to become like this person so I was the one who stopped the communication in that friendship. You win some, you lose some. Oh well, is all I can really say.

I am trying to find the rainbow on the other side of this rain cloud but not sure when I will find it.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is coming up and you know what that means! :)
FOOD. My mom and I made some cake balls for our thanksgiving feast with the Thomas family. This should be a fun time. hahaha.

This is a picture I took from my phone at work. That's right, I am a cookie decorator! I dont remember if I posted anything about my job, but this is what I do! :)
This blog is going to be me ranting about stuff that has been on my mind. like for instance, make an effort people! I know someone who says they are going to do stuff and then never make an effort towards doing it. This peeves me because I may not be the most spectacular person out there when it comes to effort but hey when I want something I go for it. Or maybe if I loss something I value very much, I go out there and I look for it! I just don't understand some people. Oh, well.

So everyone knows thanksgiving is coming and then Christmas! I love this time of year! well maybe not the getting cold outside part but other than that I love it! This year I asked for a flip camera so I can start vlogging. Who knows how that will go. Im not sure if I am going to skits or more of a daily/weekly vlog type of thing. Hmm, we will see how it goes! :)

Sorry for no posts!

I apologize for the no posting for the past 2 months.
A lot has happened!

A few weeks ago, it was July 4th. It was my Grandma Vera's birthday too. R.I.P. It was a lot of fun to hang out with my family. We all ate dinner together. My favorite part of it is, when everyone is eating, it gets EXTREMELY quiet in the house. I love that part. When we're not stuffing our faces, we are hollering.

Another thing that happened, is I GRADUATED! I graduated with the Class of 2010. I am going to miss all them. I don't know what I am going to do now. I grew up with all them and now we are splitting apart. but, It's all good. I'm happy that I am gone from the drama. :)

Also, I turned 18. :) Finally. My brother, Clay, my cousin, Jayme, and I went up to Oklahoma to the casino to Gamble! That was really fun. I stayed on the slots only because I don't really know how to play poker and blackjack, well at least I didn't want to lose all of my money right when I got there. At one point I was up $20. but in the end, the Indians got me! I lost all $67 I took with me. Lesson learned. I would like to go there sometime again before school starts in the fall. Hopefully I don't lose all my money again!

Update!

Sorry it has been so long since I have updated my blog. I have been really busy with TCC classes, prom, senior pictures, AP tests and Final exams for TCC.

21 days of no fast food.
On April 5, 2010 I started a little experiment if whether I could eat no fast food for 21 days. I succeeded with my plan. At first it was a little hard but then I got used to having the bad fatty foods. I felt very proud of myself after I accomplished my goal.

Clay comes home this weekend, on Saturday. On Monday, he is having surgery on his injury he got in either late February or early March, I can't remember.

Dallas Stars

Sorry that it has been so long since I have posted a blog. I have been a little busy with school and whatnot. Last night I went to the Dallas Stars game with my parents and a friend, Moffa. It was the last home game of the season and possibly the last game for Mike Modano. He has play for 21 seasons and is 39 years old now. He has had  802 assists in his career.

I was sitting at the very top of the stadium and got this pretty decent photo of him. He got two standing ovations last night that seem to last forever, one of which was about 3 minutes long. I never knew how much I love hockey. I have only been to two hockey games in my life, both of which were for the Dallas Stars.
Here is a group shot of all the players after they had won the game against the Anaheim Ducks 3-2. At the end of the game all of the teammates got their picture taken with Modano.
I really hope to go to another Dallas Stars hockey game sometime in  the next season. Although it has not officially been declared, I am hoping that Modano does not retire this year and I can see him one more year skating on the ice with the Stars.

Maren and Mari are 2!

This weekend I went to my sister's house for the twins birthday party.
I also went to the Grapevine Mills Mall and got my prom dress at a store called DEB.

This is Vivian and I. I had my Robert Pattinson earrings on that day and Vivian had her Jacob pin on her lanyard. I am Team Switzerland and Vivian is Team Jacob.
Vivian and I are chillin' in class. :)
Maren and I at her and Mari's birthday. I don't have a picture of Mari or else I would have put it up on here. :)

MOVIE REVIEW:
Cop Out
This weekend I was treated to a free movie and free dinner thanks to Anthony Moffa. We went to the SMG and saw Cop Out. In my opinion this movie is Great. Cop Out is rated R for language and violence. It was a very funny movie and had action as well.
